CERN Venture Connect technologies

In 2025, two new technologies were brought into the CVC portfolio: Web Energy and VitaSense AI, making the total number of technologies available in the portfolio a total of nine.

The Single Mode Laser or the Single Frequency Laser is a low cost single longitudinal mode efficient laser for use in spectroscopy, optical metrology communications amongst others. The picture shows the setup along with the expert behind the technology.

Single-Frequency Raman Laser

The Structured Laser Beam has further potential applications in metrology, interferometry, communication, for optical tweezers and in marking of packaging.
